I only met Brad once and that was at the event at the NRA museum. The fact that he took time to speak with me about Damascus barrels and his process was representative of what a down to earth guy he was. We have always met others who were experts in their field but would not give one the time of day.

The tragedy is that if he was going in for leg surgery and passed from complications it is such a sudden loss that the family and friends suffer doubly. Having myself almost died from surgery that was supposed to be routine, it is bothersome. But we never know do we? I pray for the family that they can see through the clouds to celebrate the life of a wonderful and respected craftsman during this time of mourning.

What a loss. Over the years he's worked on a number of guns for me. He always took time to talk to you and help out in any way he could. He's going to be missed. RIP

In my dealings with Brad over the years, he was always the perfect gentleman. A true professional. I miss him already. Re his surgery, leg surgery is never routine as the danger of throwing a clot in the leg is ever present. What a shame. My heart goes out to his family and friends on their (our) loss

A sad loss of a gentlemen and professional, never accepting of anything but the highest standard in his work. Only recently came to know him, and he will be missed. My condolences to his family in this trying time.
