I can assure you that shooting at clays with 2 ounce loads out of an 8 gauge make a noticeable difference. You tend to hit more, and when you do hit the targets really show their displeasure.

I am really tempted to take my 8 gauge to the Southern and shoot it in the competition. I need to get the reloading machine (which was supposed to be ready in a month last August, oh well) before I do that.

Using my 8 gauge WC Scott was the only round I ever shot all 25 LOL
