Got mine, thanks Josh. Actually had a couple of left handed shotguns. I'll call that a good start.

I used to own the gun described on page 26 of the catalog. Great gun but I just couldn’t shoot it well. According to the PGCA letter the original owner was a Mr H. E. Anderson of Lancaster, PA. My research revealed Mr Anderson was a registered shooter, who was associated with the pigeon circuit in Pennsylvania and Maryland. By the time he ordered #103439 he was in his mid-60s and was not that competitive, but the news reports from the time show him in attendance at various shoots. I inferred from this that he was a shoot organizer or sponsor of sorts. The load he requested Parker tune the gun for was1 1/4 oz of #7s over 48 grains of Shultz powder, which coincidently is similar to a load prescribed for a Cashmore pigeon gun I own. Anyway,I hope whomever buys this gun enjoys it and shoots it better than I did.

I also noticed that gun being ordered by H. E. Anderson in Lancaster, Pa. That is very close to where I was born and still live. I did a quick google search of that name and came up empty. Thanks for sharing that info. Stan |

Thank you Josh for the catalog. This is no small expense.
I have both sold and purchased through this auction and have been very happy with the results. |
