I was glad to hear that Ken got to shoot the Optimus. He said he shot it well! I like it!

Brian, Ken's Optimus is a gorgeous gun thanks to your and Ken's efforts, and others too compared to what it looked like 4 years ago.

You did a fantastic job.

Maybe a picture or two to share?

That was a good squad and great day. Sara shot well again Saturday in the main event and was the Runner-Up among the Lady shooters.

I think Ken became another advocate of the 19 grains of Red Dot pushing 1 1/8 ounce of shot in the Short Ten. He was having a ball.

Is Ken's Optimus the one that Bill Wise brought home from England? I hope I have my details right.

From my understanding there was a 3 year agreement to have it at Ernies.
Due to Covid, this would be the third year, but second event. So I would guess it will be there again next year.

Does anyone know what happened to the Bill Wise Optimus? I don't follow the Lefever website so I lost track of it. That Optimus receiver lived in my jacket pocket for what seemed like an eternity. I can't remember the details of why I was tasked with protecting it. It may be that it was mailed to me at one time.
