Burt Spiller’s 20 gauge VH 236252 appears to be in that range. Further investigation is needed to see if the marks are PB or Remington era.

Do you also have 236162 - a 20 gauge DHE original Skeet Gun I wrote about in the Winter 2017 Issue in "The Elliott's 20-Gauge Skeet Gun"?

I once owned 235,965. A VHE 20 ga., 26”. Void of “Parker Bros.” Or “Parker” on the frame exterior.
