The gun was ordered by C. E. Robbins of Fargo, ND on 12/15/1903.

I'd like to know what the engravers at Parker were thinking when they would put deer, elk ect on the floorplate of their shotguns. Upland birds and waterfowl would seem a more logical theme.

Rich, C.E. Robbins was quite the shooter. He was elected President of the North Dakota State Sportsman's Association in 1896.

Mr. Romig how do we know that was John Browning's? I recently went to the John Browning Museum and asked about him owning this Parker. They claimed the only record of John Browning owning a Parker was a DH.

OK, Dean, since we as an organization have decided not to drag our collection around as we did in the past, please give our poster a synopsis of the provenance of the Browning A Grade, preferably with a scan of the order book and stock book pages. Thanks.
