I just checked "Handloaders Guide" by DuPont and it has 1oz loads listed unlike the new guide by IMR that only list 1 1/8 oz loads. Dave,
I don't think there is a conversion in any of the pressures test (CUP, LUP, PSI, TONS). Right or wrong I see PSI pressures up to 12000 and LUP up to or within a 1000 of PSI. So, if I see a LUP pressure at 10000 I know it is near MAX as 12000 PSI is for shotgun shells. Likewise, 8000 PSI being about all I want to run through a Damascus barrel I conclude that 8000 LUP to be close enough. Hope we don't blow anything up. Harry |
