I'm home damit...stayed an extra half day due to unexpected complications. Went out with one of the guides and practiced my "guide skills" and even managed to shoot a couple of birds myself.

This place is unbelievable in so many ways and when compared to some of the other Quail hunting venues in the area it's VERY FAIRLY priced. With three hunters on the wagon and shooting only two guns at a time you still go through two boxes of shells per day. If it was the usual two guns per wagon your shooting would increase a third and that would translate into at least 2.5 boxes per day.

Mike shot great video from his phone and I hope he can post it here. If not be sure to ask to see it at the Southern.

We have rebooked for next year and maybe some more folks will give it a try.

Here are a few shots of some of the great dogs we had the privilege to hunt with. Everyone got to take home 80 birds and you could shoot at many as you had shells for.

This is Stryker a 14mo old English Cocker. We hunted with him last year and he wasn't much bigger than your hand then but was flushing and retrieving then, he is amazing now.

Two boxes of shells per day? That's how hunting should be!
