I will try to remember this story the best I can. It was sometime in the late sixty's and my brother in law was checking one of his favorite hunting spots and when he pulled in he noticed what he thought was a gun laying in the weeds. It wasn't just any gun but a highly engraved German drilling and he said Tom I have never seen a finer gun in my life. He somehow found the owner and boy was this guy happy to see his gun he had bought back from the war. That when I found out what great guy my brother in law was. Thomas

ever try to shoot three inches of mud out of the barrel of a 410? I did. it did not work quite the way I had hoped...

dean: that event accured in the early fifties in a swamp in Georgia. not sure we had camaras of any kind at that time in jawja...back then we ust our imaginations to picture things...think of a small banana, peeled half way...anyway, my dad wacked about four inches off the barrel and viola, ah had my first an only quail gon.
