That is simply insane and I do NOT believe those auctions to be legitimate.

Dean can you elaborate on what causes you to believe they are not legit? These are not the first in the $300 to $400+ winning bid for 8lbs of Unique. There is very little powder out there to be had, especially powders that are used in pistol rounds.

Heck. I've got a pound of Unique that I will let go today for half that price: $205.

Plus HAZMAT fee and shipping of course...

lots of thing go nuts over there

a little while back a dealer i have done business with a couple times (and found to be a good person to deal with) listed a box of 16 gauge 2 1/2 inch polywad spreader loads -

it went for $55 give or take a few pennies - I have 8 boxes I would let go for the bargain price of $50 each.

they list on the polywad site for $15 now

First powder in stock at S Warehouse here that I've seen in a long time. Win 748, Unique, ARComp, quite a selection of Alliant Reloder types and best of all, 8# jugs of H335, one of which I bought for loading the AR15. That much powder will do a lotta boolits. Interesting to look over the loading data in various manuals of varying ages; it's all over the board in velocities, COL, whether to use mag or non-mag primers, etc. Very difficult to find a load you feel you can trust enough to get started.

And the guy offered it at the bargain Buy-It-Now price of only $50/lb. What a sport.

Some shill for the Dept. of Homeland Security will probably snap it up. With our tax dollars.
