I first met Parker Dog the first time I met Ed.
I will miss them both.

My dog, Parker, met Parker Dog at the pond at Pintail Point a few years back at the Vintagers. They both had a burning passion for retrieving and a bond with their master only another dog owner could understand. I hope Ed is keeping my Parker in shape and looking after him until I get there. It would be kind of neat if when we get to the big hereafter we could hunt with all our departed dogs in a sort of field trail, smoke good cigars and consume some heavenly brown liquid on our tailgates in the sky. They will be missed.

Now that would be great indeed! My lab is laying here beside my chair as I write this she just turned 13 two weeks ago, still gets around good but is just a little weaker in those back legs. She walks into the water instead of running and jumping in. I know the day will come, and I dread the hell out of it!

Suponski, you thanked Daryl because you figure he will be sitting on Ed's end of the tailgate. No way, buddy, you'll be sitting next to Ed.

For those of you who don't recognize the teasing between Dave and me, it involves Dave's insistence that he and Ed sit together whenever we meet for dinner. Ed and Dave will sit together on the great tailgate in the sky while I visit with "the others".

Ed allowed us to sell his beloved AA. (This was a great honor.)
"Room on the tailgate?"
Also an honor I would love to do.
Parker Dog was an incredible personality, and could judge
those of us that loved dogs, and those that were indifferent.
R.I.P.good and honerable hunter.
