If you are not having fun at this shoot you are not trying hard enough. If you like to shoot, like good food and questionable camaraderie then this is the place for you. You are cordially invited to the daily afternoon teas at the Grotto provided we can stay out of jail. Seriously, the best shoot of the year.

I gotta say Koneski Acres and Backwoods are without a doubt the two best places to go . Not to take anything away from Deep River or Hausemann's but I like them more .

While they're not Parkers, I'm guessin my fixed choke Win 21 Double trigger 12's are all good to use?. Mostly shooting 7/8 loads with these tight choked guys.

Yes they are. You just might find something else to add to your collection while you're here. Always some nice classic American SxSs on the tables.

That will do fine Matt. I'm sure there will other guns to tempt you but your M21 is a classic.

A Model 21 32" Trap gun won the 12 gauge Hammerless event last year. Just sayin'.

We enjoyed the Southern in April 2 years running 2022-2023. Missed everything last year.
I personally enjoyed the "Gun Show" portion of the event. The venders' booths always got a fair chunk of change from us both. I'm guessing Northern is similar to Southern.

The Northern is truly a shooters shoot. Much, much more than the Southern. The vendors are few but there will be lots of horse trading going on amongst the participants so some really good deals are to be had.

Harry, with all due respect if you don't like the event then don't come. Stop trying to poison the well. If you want to see "vendors" then show up at the Southern. My point is this a shoot for shooters, last time I checked the list you weren't on it. I don't come to Mike's shoot to spend money on anything else but targets and ammo. Not overpriced stuff from the aforementioned vendors.
Have a nice day.

What Daryl said. Great courses and people. Only been able to make it twice so far but hopefully make it this year.
