The green one was traded in on an Avalanche. Great vehicle.

Carl - Thank you for volunteering to take the lead on the Parker/LC Challange. You have some very large shoes to fill but I know you will be successful in taking this on and improving the event in future years.
Tom, I appreciate the kind words. I also appreciate all the hard work Tom has put in behind the tables signing folks up, answering questions and all the other stuff that has to be done to have a successful weekend.

This year we are going to be without Tom and Allan and Charlie will not be there Saturday and Sunday. So, we can use some help at the display area, especially on Saturday and Sunday.

Mark,
You already know how I feel about all of your years of service and hard work.
Thank you.

Guys we are very lucky to have Carl stepping up to the plate. Many of you do not know this but Carl's family ( I believe grandfather) is from Meriden.
We have a true blood, Parker flows thru his veins.
Thank you Carl.

It's true. I was born in Meriden, Conn, USA, just like my favorite guns, about a mile from the old plant... Except for the few born in Illion, NY.

Thanks to all for their votes of conficence. I will most likely be asking for your help at next year's Challenge. A BIG THANKS to Mark for all his hard work, which will make stepping into his shoes that much easier.

Carl.

PS: As of today, it looks like the weather for the Southern will be great. Highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s with chance of precipitation at 10% or less. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

OK, OK...This year if any of the Smith guys need my help, I'll put the foam on their stock and the electrical tape on their glasses. "Really, this is the way to do it...and don't forget to breathe through your eyelids!"
