Lefever shot very well and deserved the win. Congrats to the Team and those who enlisted shooters to try out for it.

I believe this was a predictable WIN with the concept of 3 random shooters per 5 person team, and compounded by those who'd already left HH when their names were drawn and also with some who declined to do the shoot-off, hence additional picks came out of the hat.

Who can name another gun maker shooting competition where teams are comprised of the top two qualifiers and a draw of three names from a hat? Surely that concept was done with good intentions but really, it’s easily "outfoxed". Nuff said. Hopefully we’ll go back to a typical shooting team selection that's based on the 5 top scores during the qualifier.

Anyone want to propose that random draw concept for the LC Smith/Parker Challenge Teams at the Southern?

Mike test positive?? It reminds me when I went for my ETS physical in the U.S. Army in 1969. I approached the front of the line for shots and told the physician that I felt pretty good and would like to forgo the shots. He asked me if I was "short" and I said "Yes, about one month short". He waved me through the line and congratulated me on my "short" status.

When the trip got canceled, Mills asked me if Pennsylvania tested positive. I think he and I were looking forward to it the most

Contrary to popular belief, MM Mike and I get along swimmingly. He has the utmost respect for my target reading/crushing abilities ("Helen Keller swatting black flies") and I hold the same for his staunch, liberal views and his "I Love Nancy Pelosi" hoodies.
