Our Wally World limits to three boxes. Dealers were making rounds early after overnight stocking and buying them all for resale. Now that means three individual boxes of 25 or three boxes of 100. Figure that one out. Went there the other day and plenty of Federals in the white box 100 rounds, 3-1 1/8-7 1/2 1200 fps for $30. Above that were the Estate 3 1/4- 1 1/8-7 1/2 1250 fps 100 box for $25. Both made by Federal. Easy choice.

I've got plenty of huntin' ammo but trap league takes around 30-32 boxes depending on how many teams register. I'm set for spring league now but I'll still be short going into fall if I don't scare up another couple of flats. Plenty of time, right?

Phil, nice score. I routinely stop at the local Walmarts and run in to check their supply. I have picked up 8of those Federal 100 packs in 12 ga and another 6 of the Win Universal 20 ga/7/8/ 7 1/2s. I dont shoot regularly, but will buy those every chance I get. The closest sporting clays range is 75 miles, and will be going there this Friday for their Good Friday shoot--100 rounds + fish fry for $60. Maybe shoot a round of skeet also.

The local WalMart gets nothing in for shotshells. Oddly, Dicks has a LOT. There is a two box limit of the Sterling brand trap loads and their 25g sporting loads. $10.99 a box. He said he'll sell me whatever I want because nobody is buying them. He said everyone comes in asking when they're getting Gun Club back at their usual $4.99 a box price and folks somehow think those days are coming back. Sterling is a Turkish load with E3 powder. It goes bang. They have them in 20, 12 and Aguila in 28, 20 and 12. Nice to see something on the shelf.
