The lack of the recessed hinge pin is easily compensated by the side clips.

My research tells me that the Lyman gun and the Cliff Green 4 gauge set BHE were utilized at the same Remington Great Eastern NSSA shoot in the late thirties. I don't know whether the two owners knew each other.

I had the great good fortune to shoulder all three Invincibles at the Vegas show about 10 years ago. Priceless!
