Is this single trigger a Parker? Or a Miller? Or something else? (photos would help) Better send the whole gun off to Bachelder's. They can put it right. But it won't be cheap... |

Yes but it's a selective trigger so I set it to fire the more open barrel first.

The word on the street is that Bachelder’s has several hundred guns waiting to even be looked at. Besides being expensive, they can’t even give a realistic time frame as to when you’ll get it back... just sayin’... .

I think there is a FAQ that has contact information on single trigger repair.

I haven't had any work done by Briley's in a while, so I would go with someone recommended by the Parker Assoc. I've heard good things about Kirk Merrington. |

Minor adjustment and selector moved.
Until today I never knew that this style of trigger was selective. I knew the trigger of an SKB style was selective by pushing button left or right. The reason I use a sxs is the capability of choosing the choke with trigger selection. I disposed of a Superposed 12 and a 20 when a friend introduced me to his Parker 20 with twin triggers. That was a delight, not having to fumble with a selector for a close or far target. I have plainly seen the knurled protrusion ( now known to me as the selector) but didn't know what it was. Just a remnant of the "other trigger"? None the less, this cross choked 28 was used by a left eye dominate shooter. Doubt that the letter will tell the construction of each when it left the factory, but it was a left handed gun as purchased. Happy either way, just need to trade for " right hand choked" , twin trigger gun. Left barrel first......I don't think so. Worth a try I suppose. Thanks for responses.
