Toilet bowl cleaner on a cotton ball if you don't have blue remover. But, you may not be able to see the twist even then because those barrels have to be etched to bring out the pattern contrast.

Radio Shack has circuit board etchant that is used to do this mixed with distilled water. Midway USA has a youtube video of Mr. Potterfield etching a parker barrel using this stuff.
