Craig, I will check my NSSA average books. They go back to 1933 so I shouldn't have any trouble finding him. I'm one sick puppy.

I just wonder if I may have come in contact with him at Arrowhead , Gretna , The Great Eastern in Richmond , Fairfax , Fredricksburg or Piedmont at a NSSA shoot .
I don't know if he was a competitive shooter or not.

Reminds me of an old church hymn - "We shall meet but we shall miss you."

This is another example of the PGCA bringing like minded people together. I hunted in the same area ( Back Bay ) as Hick for many years years and never met him until he looked me up at the local skeet range. We had several mutual friends but the Forum got us together. Hick was a great guy and will be missed. RIP Hick

Craig, I was not able to determine that Hick shot any NSSA skeet back to the sixties. Just in case, I will continue to search back into the fifties, but I'm not sure he was a VA resident that far back. I never saw Hick fire a shotgun, but I can only imagine what the results would be if he had. My assumption was always that he knew which end the shot comes out.

Enjoyed about three visits with Hick at the Southern. What a gentleman, loved his contributions too the PP as well. About a month ago myself Rich and Eric were discussing Hick.

Really lost a great one there... RIP Hick and condolences to his family.

Look in the 80's and early 90's . I started maybe 1985 and stopped in 1993 or so .
