I saw Dave's DEO 16 long before he did, but thought eight grand was a little much for a Remington. Today it is probably a $25,000 shotgun. I have done that before and will do it again. Congratulations, Dave.

Anyone know why they can't seem to keep a second gunsmith on hand? They are listed on their website for a couple of weeks or a month or two and then gone.

Having kinda worked closely with a semi young gunsmith for about 5 years now . I would say that gunsmiths are a fickle bunch , hence they may very well loose intrest in a place pretty quickly . Especially when working for someone as opposed to running their own shop .

Albrights was showcased on the Esq. network's show, "Alternate Route". Back in 2013 reruns of that episode come by every now and again. Nice-looking shop, full service. Never been there though. The guy on the show bought a Smith so I stopped watching

I always stop when passing not far off my Route. Couple times a year I drive to Baltimore. Nice guys usually something to look at. Last time 3 or 4 Parkers. Rough DH tempted me price of bringing it back kept me away.

In the early 1920's, a consecutively numbered pair of PHE 28 gauges were delivered to the Eastern Shore. To my knowledge neither one has been seen or heard from since.

Sounds like the making of a good treasure hunt!

Nice Parker going up for sale on the Eastern Shore good chance it would end up at Albrights. Most of the other shops deal in mass market sporting goods & lower end guns.
