The lug for the Deeley latch is different from the lug for a keyed fore end. As it has a later style now, you can't really go back and forth.

By first style release, do you mean the original deely (short) latch with the wedge tip?

Yes it is a lever release not slide pin. But in looking at the parker book there were 2 release versions. This would need the earlier style with tip.

I just checked and I have one in that style, but for a 1 frame. Your 10g would be a larger size.
