At the Southern one of the trappers asked me about my shells, Said he could see something strange about the wads downrange. Cut open a spreader so he could have a look, most modern gun shooters don't know anything like spreaders exist.
Pulling out a spreader shell when it's called for is much better than messing with nice Parker chokes. William |

Nothing wrong with messing with the chokes - but if you don't want to Claybusters has 16ga wads.

I use 3/4oz in my 12ga's and they seem to work fine. My normal load is #8's.
