If I remember right Glodo lived for sometime on a boat, he may have lived in several states. Don't have a clue but Howard has devoted a ton of time into the world of callmakers. You would like a bois d'arc Hambone call ( or one of mine) , bois d'arc (mock orange or hedge apple around here) is my favorite wood to get real ducky. I too like the short barrel call, just easier to control for me. Make it down my way (Franklin Tn) would be honored to make you one.
