In college, 1969, I enrolled in a public speaking class and for our final grade we had to give a speech which included a demonstration. Our teacher gave us some hints as to what to do to make our speech more interesting. Give it on something you love. So... I brought my newly aquired S&W K-22 Masterpiece in and proceeded to give a brief history lesson on Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson, the nomenclature of the pistol and the proper way to clean a revolver. Noone blinked an eye at the sight of that pistol and this was'nt a farming community. It was a suburb of Baltimore. It's pathetic how we have lost control of of common sense and allowed people who are afraid of something to dictate our standards. By the way I still have that K-22, original box and vapor paper that it came with.
