My whining about the delay was too much (hehe, who says I didn''t learn anything raising 3 kids) for Mr. Purtill to bear, so he got in the car and drove a copy over to me. I now understand why he wanted me to read it before Christmas. I didn't see him put the case under my tree, but I'm sure he is giving it to me as a thank you for being the only person North and East Of Madison Ave. who can put up with him.
Seriously though, I've seen the gun and it really is a time capsule. When he first opened the case I believe I sucked in air, just to keep from getting dizzy. Then he told me the whole story (without all the bells & whistle in the PP article) and it really did take on a mystical quality. Kinda like the Ark Of The Covenant.
