I mailed a DH12ga. From Seattle Wa. on Saturday, it arrived in San Antonio on Monday. USPS gets it right sometimes.
Still no Parker Pages. Sometimes they don't.

I mailed Priority packages to my kids in Myrtle Beach SC and Clearwater FL last tuesday. Tracking says the Myrtle beach package is still in Florencce SC today. No tracking info provided for the one to FL. So much for "3 Days Or Less". Next year, I'll tell them to go to Hong Kong to pick up their presents.

Parker Pages justs arrived in south central Pennsylvania by way of the afternoon post. Looks like some good reading from the comfort of my recliner Christmas day.
Thanks to everyone who invested their time and labor to bring it to us.

My whining about the delay was too much (hehe, who says I didn''t learn anything raising 3 kids) for Mr. Purtill to bear, so he got in the car and drove a copy over to me. I now understand why he wanted me to read it before Christmas. I didn't see him put the case under my tree, but I'm sure he is giving it to me as a thank you for being the only person North and East Of Madison Ave. who can put up with him.
Seriously though, I've seen the gun and it really is a time capsule. When he first opened the case I believe I sucked in air, just to keep from getting dizzy. Then he told me the whole story (without all the bells & whistle in the PP article) and it really did take on a mystical quality. Kinda like the Ark Of The Covenant.

Dave,
Some of us in CT have received our Parker Pages. I guess we now know who's been naughty or nice.

Near as I can figure Larry, you're half way between Dave and I, so what's your secret? No Maple Syrup for my mailman this year!

Will Microsoft Works Word Processor work? I do not have Microsoft Word 2007. In a way, I do, but 'read only'!
