That whiteline and grip cap were Fajen standard fare. I removed those items from my Father's VH-Grade and then mistakenly replaced them with a Parker Bros. logo grip cap rather than the period correct cap!!

You can tell it's a waterfowl special by the carved duck in the stock. The plain blued frame is reminiscent of the Purdy Funeral Model.

I hunted Woodcock with a gentalman who used those Prarie Storm 12ga shells. he didn't hit anything and I told him it was because he wasn't on the open Prarie and the brush kept getting in the way. If he wanted to hit Woodcock in the thick stuff he needed RST Brush loads.
