Default Beretta 405 Speciale and 405 Piccione Extra

John, the book THE WORLD OF BERETTA AN INTERNATIONAL LEGEND Copyright 2000 by R. L. Wilson has a good picture of the 405 Speciale model in 32 gauge on page 76. Pictures of the 305 and 404 Piccione models and the 405 Piccione Extra model appear on pages 24, 76, 133, 134, and 135. I think they also appear in the 1949 Beretta Catalog but I do not have one of those handy to check. I believe the Piccione models were only available in 12 and 16 gauge as one might expect of a pigeon gun of the time period when these were made. If you still have access to the owner's pictures these will give you something for comparison. Hope this helps.
