Default Thanks from Back Woods and Fall Classic

Just wanted to let everyone know, that we really appreciate everyone's support. We will continue to host this event and look forward to having all of you again.

Results will be posted at www.backwoodsquailclub.com later this week. Parker did win the Challenge and Smith won the "Trap" Challenge.

We are tentatively looking at the last weekend of September for this event next year. If any of you see an conflicts with that, drop me a line. We are trying to be for accommodating for those that are into there hunting seasons in October.

Again, thanks for coming and we look forward to seeing all of you at Deep River in April.

Rick, Thank You for the kind note. You folks really know how to put on a shoot! My son and I had a fantastic time.A quick suggestion if I may be carefull about your timing of this event as I believe the Vintagers is scheduled for the last weekend in September. Again thank you for hosting this great shoot and all your support of the PGCA.

Thanks Dave. I will double check but was under the impression that the Vintagers was going to be the second week of September. Will check on that though.

I had a wonderful time and only wish that I could have shot the course rather than sit at my vendors table. I did however sell all but one Parker on my table. What a great place! Rick, you and your staff were wonderful. The anticipated crowd was somewhat dampened by Sandy. I pray all that had to travel home to her had an uneventful trip and are safe. Bill Kempfer was the greatest.

My vote would be for the last week in Sept. I'd much rather give Rick my money than Ray P. at the Vintagers. I've not heard this much enthusiasm about the Vintage Cup as I've heard about this Fall shoot at Backwoods.

I would agree with Double Lab on having the Fall SxS in September even if it conflicts with the Vintagers. I will support Rick's shoot whenever he decidies to put it on!

Default Fall side by side

Rick,
Your event is now on my calender for must attend. I have just one suggestion. Leave your shoot at the same date or move in a week or two closer. I attend the world skeet shoot each year and it is always on the last weekend of Sept through the first week of Oct. Just my thought. Great time.

Rick,

This was my first time at Backwoods, and I'm very happy to hear that you'll be having this event again next year. As soon as the date is decided it will be going on my Calendar. The venue was awesome, the course was challenging and fun each day, and the staff were all great. Thanks again for a great time.

Cheers,

Mike
