the Philadelphia Gun was an Ansley H Fox design, not an AH Fox Gun company product.

the company changed names and location of incorporation several times in the first couple years. check the pre Fox Gun links on the Fox Collectors site for the round about trip to the AH Fox gun made in Philadelphia.

small point - and no doubt the cosmetics of this gun would have cause confusion - and some trademark complaints I would guess

A Chevy body and a Ford motor? Now it is confirmed that Ed Good was raised by wolves.
