Packery Jetties
Here is another great fishing spot on North Padre Island ,Texas.
Water is rough but mackerel,reds,even whiting seem to love it.Just bring lots of hooks and sinkers. Bill

We can't have fishing jetties like that here on the coastal Northeast. The angry sea would wash them away periodically along with the uneducated fishing crowd. As it is the rock jetties are a shamble and are unlikely to be rebuilt soon. Too expensive to keep rebuilding so often.
