Ah... When I lived in the East, my Wife and I use to go the September Syracuse show, then spend the week at Jerry's Journeys End at Long Lake in the Adirondacks, then hit the Rochester show the next weekend on the way home. Always a great trip.

Dave,

I dont know when you were doing your tours thru here but the Syracuse show aint what it used to be (but what is?) Been doing it for 35+ years, started as a kid in the 70's. We used to have real displays with judging and awards and a bunch of nice guns. Now, well you know....black guns and trinkets. Not really complaining, it's the best show in NYS but I'm just glad I was there in the "old days" too. ....off to Louisville this week and then the Vintagers & Julias. Thats worth getting excited about.
