Chris,

If all the other suggestions fail, you will be having to do some surgery. What might be happening is that you have a sticky unhooking slide.

Removing the hook screw on the barrels is one way. BUT, this may not be able to be done since the screw head does not always clear the water table when the gun is opened.

What you may have to do is remove the trigger plate, along with the cocking slide so that you can gain access to the cocking hook from the underside. It is very tricky, but you have to push forward on the hook, while keeping the cocking cam back AND also opening the action.
I had to do this jsut the other day to a Trojan that was missing the plunger on the unhooking slide, thus not providing enough pressure to unhook the cam.

*another tip if doing this. Take the stock right off. The only extra operation needed to do this is to remove the sears.

No sweat ,I'm quite capable believe it or not.I was just looking for a quick answer...I was thinking it was what Brian mentioned,so that's where I'll head to ,all the other fix's mentioned were already tried.
