Based on the serial number of your new gun it is likely to have 2 & 5/8" chambers.

Also, the chambers may have been cut for brass shells.

No, it has flat breech faces with no recesses.

Interestingly, I know of a Parker with the gas-releif porting on the breech faces that was patented by Boss. I'll post a pic of that tonight.
