Rich, Ten or so years ago we had a hen Pa'tridge make herself a home at my local gun club. No one had seen a grouse on the property for 5 years before that! But her she was..she showed no fear and would walk around the grounds all day even with the shooting going on. She loved donut crumbs....It got to the point that she would be waiting in the road leading to the clubhouse for the first member to open up. And then she was gone after about a month...we figured some pedator finally got her. I have a picture of her hanging on the wall in my den. A wonderful bird....
