Harold,
What's the top gun with the english stock, looks like a D grade? How long are the barrels?? I'd like a closer look if you have pictures on file!

Chris, you are right. It is a DHE 16 , O frame, 26" barrels factory choked cyl/mod, 6 lbs on the nose. Factory letter attests to the above, but lists it with a half pistol grip. Taking off the trigger guard, the straight grip does have the proper serial # in the wood and on the back of the trigger guard. Factory records say the stock was redressed in 1910 and the stock must have been changed then, unless it never was a half grip in the first place. The gun was delivered in 1905. There are more pictures of it and the factoty letter on this forum under DHE 16 in Dec and Jan. The gun in the middle is a restored VH 20 w/ 26" barrels.
