I saw John Frierson at the Columbia Gun Show on Saturday. I had already bought his book and had him autograph it for me. My Parker Pages was in the mail box when I got back. I have sold John several Parkers over the years and, let me tell you, he is tough to deal with, but a great sportsman and individual. Havilah Babcock was my English professor at The University of South Carolina in the 60's and you could always tell if class was going to be short or cancelled if Professor Babcock had on his hunting clothes and his dog was in the car outside.
Best Regards, George

George, I bought one of his Parkers, a month or so back. Maybe it's one you sold him. He has another one on Gunbroker right now.He sent me his book when I was in the hospital, which helped while away the waking hours. He's a hoot to chat with on the phone. He sounds like he still has the energy he had when he was a kid,
Edgar
