I have one of those. I concluded that all they really check is how the chambers are pointed, not where the gun shoots.

Or how level or parallel to the barrel bore the rim is that seats the shell base.
I guess even slight variances in shell construction can cock a shell in the
chamber one way or another. I just found this fun and interesting as I was
playing with my big boy toys. Kind of got the bug to get one to see how my
16 ga. VH falls out. It never ends
