30" An interesting gun. Made in 1904 without a safety. Went back to Parker for addition of a safety, installed a Jostam sponge black/red pad, the 1910 bolt plate. I took off the fossilized pad, kept it and put on a Silvers. The stock numbers to the gun for a grade 4 but the channel indicates grade 3, however, it is all original including the cheek inlets, and has D pattern checkering on the grip. I surmise that the stock was finished in inventory as a grade 3 but when it was to be installed on a grade 4, Parker just added the cheek checkering. The gun was half of a pair sent to Los Angeles on special order. The other half of the order is a matching 16 Bernard and I've unsuccessfully looked for that for many years. 2" drop at heel and 7lbs 10oz for the 12. The books show only a few straight grip Bernards.
