Default Chokes

David,
If the chokes are indeed wide open, I cannot think of a better ruffed grouse choke to use (unless someone invents something more open than cylinder). In northern Minnesota where we hunt, a very close shot is the rule and not the exception. I do have Briley chokes in a Parker Reproduction and love it. In the grouse and woodcock cover it is cyl/cyl for me!
