Has anyone here ever actually succeeded in firing each barrel separately, under control, with both fingers inserted? I suppose a heavy gun with very light loads might make it possible....

I've certainly tried... once.

I've had a few English guns with articulated (hinged) front triggers, but they were on small bore guns, making it less necessary to begin with.
