Default To Clark & Beverly McCombe

I truly enjoyed reading “Our Parker Journey” in the current issue of Parker Pages.
It brings back fond memories of when Kathy, my late wife, and I were welcomed into the Parker fold. We made some of our very best and enduring friendships and we learned so very much from so many knowledgable people.

Today I have Dorothy in my life and the very same folks have treated her with the very same warm inclusion.

It has been a wonderful 25-year journey and I’m sure it will be the same for you.

If I didn’t say so on your first post as a new member I’ll say it now…

Welcome to the fold and Thank You for sharing your reflections.

Great article Clark and Beverly. I met you both at Jay Oliver's shoot this past May and I knew right then you both would fit in this group of gun nuts. I remember telling you to not miss Mike Koneski's shoot later that year. I love your enthusiasm and it was a pleasure shooting with you both. Looking forward to more with you both.

PS: Thanks for your support.

Rainy day here in SC so dove into Spring '26 Parker Pages which arrived a couple days ago. I warmed up as usual by reviewing P in P, the editorial and then Prez message. Next came the features and I savored every one. Bravo to authors Morrison,Brownell, Yearout, McCombe x 2, Parker and Wooden. Hope I didn't miss anybody. What a variety of entertainment. Well done and kudos to the editors! I love a good story.

...and to Phil. I'm in the habit of picking up old hulls while wandering bird covers - picked one up just yesterday while quail hunting. But now, after reading your story "The Shell", I will pause and consider what the history was of each one I stoop over, pick up and drop into my vest. Thanks for that. Funny how something so simple can trigger contemplation inside the mind of a hunter. Well done Phil.

...same to the McComb's. Parker friendship and lore has the ability to replace dreaded health thoughts in ones mind. There is nothing like the happiness of all things Parker.
