Default Converted PW in 8g

I now have my converted PW 375 in 8g set up and running. David did a great job machining all the necessary parts for the conversion. I have to do a few tweaks depending on which hulls I’m using (3 1/4” or 2 3/4”), but this’ll be sweet. The crimps are like they came from a factory!

Mike, that is very cool I love my two PW machines, one 12 and one 20 ga. I am going to buy the 28 ga tooling with the top plate so I can change out the gauges without removing the tooling. That is a bit of a pain but if you can leave it intact it only takes minutes to convert and no readjustments needed.

Where did your donor 375 come from or rather was it a new one or used from EBay or some such ?

One of our shooters brought it in one day last Spring and gave it to me. He couldn't get it to work for him. If it's free it's for me.

I can guarantee you without a doubt it’s going to work better than a damn Rube Goldberg MEC . However if I were so inclined to get a 375 tooled up I’d still need to keep the 600JR for buck slugs etc . Unless my memories shot you cannot take the shell out easily in between stations on a 375 which I need to be able to do when loading buck ball or slug .

You can't take the shell out. You take the whole die out with the shell in it, easy peasy.
