Default Parkers on the Platte

Hunted near Gering Nebraska with friends. We had three Parker 12ga #3 frames in the field one day. A CHE 12/32, a DH 12/32 and VH 12/32. Hunting for geese was good, ducks was slow. The weather was very warm and little wind for this time of year but it was a great time.

Looks like a great time. Those 3 frame guns must make the perfect waterfowl guns.

#3 Frame 12ga Parkers handle much like a Super Fox. Most weigh in about 8lbs 5oz. but not quite as robust as a Super Fox. Especially good for pass shooting. I shoot #3 Kent TM 2 3/4" 1 1/4oz bone breakers out of mine.

Thanks for the update Craig. You are blessed to have such great friends to hunt with. Sadly we used to have a 3 bird limit here.

I’ve had three of the 3 frame 12’s and other than the drop on the DH Damascus barreled one they felt good as well as a covey of 3 frame 10’s . Nothing against Fox as I like them but the Fox HE I had , to me never felt as good in my hands as the Parker 3 frame guns and that’s even with a couple of the Parker’s tipping the scales past 10 pounds . The HE I had was a Kass restock gun and the dimensions were quite nice it just didn’t seem to balance as well or as lively in my hands as those three frame guns be it 10 or 12 . But I will say the chokes in that HE I liked quite a bit nice and extremely tight .
