Hi, I have two Parker shotguns one shows up in Parker identification and serialization the other does not? The one that does not is serial number 191147 it is a 28 gauge DHE grade, I believe around 1920? Would it do any good to get a letter? Thanks Cary

Unfortunately Cary, there is no data on 191147 to support a research letter.

The research letter function on the home page shows the PGCA has no information for serial number 191147.

Whomever transcribed the original Parker Brothers books apparently omitted that range.
When the records were transcribed for the Parker Gun Identification and Serialization book they omitted everything Grade 2 and below in certain ranges thinking nobody would be interested in the lower grades.

Pretty strange how many guns are just missing from our records… that coupled with, I believe it is 32 books missing altogether…

We would love to see pictures of your Parkers, especially the 28 DHE

...and if you post pictures here members might help identify what is original from the factory. And welcome to the PGCA!

Let me be the first to welcome you to the PGCA and the Parker world in general!

Enjoy your guns and share your experiences with them here, this is a great place to hang-out and talk about everything Parker related and then some.

Thank you everyone! I appreciate your time and information, when I grew up my best friends grandpa collected Parker’s and even as a kid I was in Awe of them, but retiring this year and buying a couple I came across, Cary. How do you post pics
