This may be only in my mind, but I've noticed many 1 1/2 frame stocks 'seem' to feel a bit more slender. I don't think there is a '1 1/2' butt plate for the G and V grade guns, but it's not to say a skeleton butt plate couldn't be profiled to a more slender stock. Many have pointed out that what's in my mind just isn't so, so take that as just my perception.

Isn't a "1" buttplate used on most 1 1/2 frame guns? I should know the answer to that question, but I don't usually take the buttplates off guns that don't need work.
