looking for info would a no2 frame butt stock fit on a 1 1/2 frame action with modification or with out

The rear of the frame dimensions of the two frame sizes are the same.

This may be only in my mind, but I've noticed many 1 1/2 frame stocks 'seem' to feel a bit more slender. I don't think there is a '1 1/2' butt plate for the G and V grade guns, but it's not to say a skeleton butt plate couldn't be profiled to a more slender stock. Many have pointed out that what's in my mind just isn't so, so take that as just my perception.
