Default Broke in the GH

Was lucky enough to pick up a 20 gauge GH with Damascus barrels from a friend a month ago and have been waiting to break it in on some Woodies . We got out to a nice little secluded pond surrounded by white oaks that is usually money for woodducks. But for some reason tonight the only duck that showed was a hen mallard. The little GH with some RST bismuth 6 shot did its job and my dog made a nice retrieve . Hope the woodies show this weekend!

Nice hunt! So your pup retrieves from water? Excellent!

Yes they are great water dogs unless it drops down below 20 degrees. That’s where I draw the line I know others that go colder but if my wife finds out I send em below 20 it would be better if I didn’t come home!
