Yes, sound like the "LOM" is proffered.
But the full zipper OAL padded case wins, with the ready to go if the field.

The "VH" & the "REM 1894" [Damascus barrels], presently use that type.

Of COURSE, if there a INSANELY priced offers from the PGCA members , that's a different idea.
