Craig, so does this mean that in the State of New York, you cannot order a Muzzleloader rifle from say Bass Pro and have it delivered directly to your home?

No even ML's require a state background check by an FFL in NY and can not be shipped directly to your home. NYS is so anti gun I just shake my head. Our legislature is now trying to enact a 10 day waiting period, required liability insurance for gun owners, and a ban on 50 caliber rifles and ammunition.

You can't even purchase a Ruger .22 auto without a NYS Pistol permit that takes about one year to obtain. Add to that safe storage and transportation regs. The people in power hate the 2nd amendment and guns of all types plus they have liberal judges that uphold all this. It's all just crazy!!

I'm checking out real-estate in South Carolina.

Craig, other than the warm weather, NH is a great option to live in. No sales or income tax, very liberal gun laws, no permit for concealed carry. And just rated the best state to retire to.

1. NH, 2. Maine 3. Wyoming, 4. Vermont, 5. Idaho

Please pass the word all over the North East. Virginia is already full (and all the crazy NY and MA refugees who write that they don't mind paying our low taxes and the state should increase them for more services).
